Termite & Wood Destroying Insect Inspection
Termites can destroy a property. It is recommended that an inspection be done annually and at time of purchase transfer.
Inspection includes a Department of Agriculture licensed Wood Destroying Insect Inspector to look for mud tunnels; frass; damaged wood; soft spots under visible drywall/moldings etc. Additionally, Inspector will look for evidence of Carpenter Ants, Wood Boring Beetles and Carpenter Bees and associated damage to property.
A standard NPMA-33 Form will be completed and typically delivered same or next day. VA, FHA and Dept of Agriculture often require these during loan process. Inspectors must be licensed Department of Agriculture and carry 7B license in Missouri and 7A license in Kansas. Feel free to ask your inspector to see license.
